It started with London, England — I was a starry-eyed study abroad student and nothing could stop me from writing about the European life I'd discovered. I got married a year later and dipped my toes in the electrifying world of politics reporting. After a stint covering the 2016 Utah Legislature for BYU's Daily Universe, I was hooked. I took an internship at The Salt Lake Tribune's politics desk and studied early American thought during a whirlwind election season and came out on the other side sure I'd found my niche. My husband and I have set our sights for New York City — catchya there.
